The animal drugs are used for prevention, treatment and diagnosis of animal diseases,regulating animal physiology with purpose,and regulate usage,method and the amount of the material (including drug feedstuff additives). There are three main types of animal drugs,(1). serum, vaccines (or vaccine),diagnosis fluid and biological products,(2).animal medicines and traditional Chinese medicines,chemical materials and its preparation,(3).antibiotics,biochemistry drugs,radioactive drugs.The normal ones: anti-parasite drugs, antibacterial drugs,vaccines and disinfection drugs.

The purpose to use animal drugs is to reduce the residues-drugs in beef,do not harm human health.All animal drugs being used should according to the state quality standards and regulations, products should come from a enterprise,which has licenses and approval of the text,or the dealers with import permition.Allowing to use vaccine to prevent diseases, allowing to use disinfectants that according to the relevant regulation,allowing to use traditional Chinese medicine preparations and probiotics.

(2). Anti-parasitic drugs,anti-bacterial drugs and feedstuff additives drugs,when use them must strictly in accordance with the usage,dosage and the stop period.

(3).Never use the drugs that States have expressly prohibited.

3.Which kind of drugs have been prohibited by States in the production of beef ?

Drugs as promoting growthare:methyl ketone testosterone in sex hormone,propionate,estradiol benzoate,nitroimidazoles of metronidazole,ornidazole,hypnosis sedative chlorpromazine, diazepam (stability),and so on.

Used as insecticides:lindane (C-666),poisoned phenol,carbofuran,chlordimeform,antimony potassium tartrate,trypanosomiasis swollen amines.

4.Why cattle farms generally refuse visits,and must be disinfected before visiting?Don't let people in is good to themselies on the one hand,preventing human infect with some diseases from animals,on the other hand will benefit the cattle to prevent to get some diseases from people.Even after a strict disinfection,people may spread germs through the breathing,speaking and spitting.
